We have highly skilled PTS staff who specialise in De-veg and maintenance trackside. We currently work for the biggest companies helping them to fulfil their contractual obligations on time and budget.

At SGL we have a fleet of tracked chippers with competent staff who operate them. We have four Coss qualified staff and a numerous site warden who have all undergone speciality training for these roles. All our staff are NPTC qualified, and we refresh all certification every 3 – 5 years as is industry best practice.

Each team have a Covid Safe site bag which will be audited weekly to ensure our staff are safe in the event of an accident or spillage. They all hold Emergency first aid at work + forestry.

Utility arb

SGL forestry have competent staff and equipment designed especially for Utility arb. This is working for SSE and UKPN around Surrey, Hampshire and Wessex. We are in a privileged position with our duel trained staff who also carry PTS and Coss qualifications meaning we are ideally placed for all types of UA work. We are looking at expanding into this sector as our relationship with the primary contractors grows, this will mean our investment into training and Utility vehicles will also grow. SGL are always looking into safer ways in which we can work on such contracts as well as making sure we hit all KPIs the clients set.
